On March 14, 2018, a student made a threat against our school and the school was put under lockdown. Students were terrified as everyone was locked inside class and the police were investigating. The threat brought awareness to school shootings in America and the school helped support students who were affected.

In October, we were instructed to make a documentary on what we want to see change in 2020. We decided to spread awareness to school shootings by highlighting an issue we faced in our own school. Over the course of 8 weeks, we learned techniques to make a documentary, interviewed people who experienced the event, and how to edit the footage.
